Chida Khatua is the CEO and co-founder of EquBot. Chida brings more than 17 years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Most recently, he spent 18 years serving as the Director of Engineering at Intel and as the founder of a successful startup called Bumperglass. Chida holds several patents in hardware, software, and technology. He was honored by Business Insider as one of the “Top 10 People Transforming Investing,” and as one of the “Top 100 People Transforming Business.” He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, a Masters from Stanford in Electrical Engineering, a Masters from the Indian Institute of Science in EE, and a BE from VSSUT (UCE) Burla.
Art Amador CFP® is the COO and co-founder of EquBot. Art brings more than a decade of experience in the investment management industry. Most recently, he spent 8 years serving as a Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for over $1.3 billion in assets. In 2012, Art was recognized as Fidelity’s #1 consultant in the U.S. He holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner, an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and a BS in Financial Services from San Diego State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and #1 in his major.
Chris Natividad is EquBot’s CIO and co-founder. Chris brings more than 14 years of experience in the institutional investment management industry. Previously Chris was an Investment Portfolio Manager for Gilead Sciences and Apple Inc.’s Braeburn Capital. He was responsible for managing multi billion dollar onshore and offshore investment portfolios. Chris’ previous experience also includes investment management and analysis across a variety of asset classes for several financial service firms including Goldman Sachs, and Franklin Templeton. He holds an MBA, BS, and BA from UC Berkeley.
Sam Olesky is the founder and Managing Member of Olesky Capital Management, LLC an independent investment advisory firm that conducts principal investing and trading. Sam is also serving as a Professor at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley teaching classes in Hedge Funds, Investment Strategies, and Portfolio Management. From 1998 through 2010, Sam managed the Olesky Capital hedge fund. Prior to founding Olesky Capital in 1998, Sam served as the First Vice President at TD Ameritrade. Sam holds a BS in Economics and Computer Science from New York University.
An Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) industry pioneer, Hougan was instrumental in establishing ETF.com as a leading source for news and research focused on the world of ETFs. He joined the firm 2004, rising to become CEO and leading the company through its sale in 2015. He also helped launch and is today Chairman of Inside ETFs, the world’s leading ETF education company. Among other accomplishments, Hougan is co-author of the CFA Institute Research Foundation’s monograph on ETFs, an ETF and fintech columnist for Forbes.com, and a three-time member of the Barron’s ETF Roundtable. Earlier this year, Hougan joined Bitwise Asset Management as Global Head of Research.
